Chamber Music Summer Series Grand Finale on Tap
The Palm Beach Chamber Music Festival, a beloved nonprofit that has been entertaining the area for more than 20 years, will wrap up its popular summer series July 26 through 28 with three performances.
On July 26, the show comes to the Helen K. Persson Recital Hall at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach. Strings will go up at 7 p.m. On July 27, the festival hits Palm Beach Gardens’ Eissey Campus Theatre, on the campus of Palm Beach State College. Showtime is 8 p.m. The final performance of the summer series is at 2 p.m. July 28 at Old School Square in Delray Beach.
Each show will offer interpretations of four pieces of classical music, with an intermission after the third round. Tickets cost $25. For information, call 800-330-6874.
The goal of the festival is to provide local audiences with high-quality classical concertos and to give professional musicians the opportunity to play the great chamber music. For the first time, the festival is announcing a Fall series that will kick off Sept. 19 in Boca Raton.
